Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

This policy covers this website and the Yarphel Business waitlist. We keep it short because we collect very little. When the Yarphel Business app opens to you, it comes with its own privacy notice, which you'll see before you sign up.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we keep:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your business name and type of business, if you choose to give them.
  • Where you came from, if the link you followed said so (for example a link someone shared with you).
  • The date and time you joined, which sets your place in line.

Like every website, our servers also receive your IP address and basic details about your browser with each request. We use the IP address to stop the form being flooded with repeated sign-ups. Our hosting providers keep standard request logs for a short time to run and secure the service.

How we use it

  • To send your invite when it's your turn, and important news about the launch.
  • To understand which kinds of business are waiting, so we can plan setup help for them.
  • To show how many businesses have joined. Only the total is shown, never names.

We don't send newsletters from the waitlist, we don't sell your details, and we don't use them for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

This website doesn't set tracking or advertising cookies, and doesn't use third-party analytics.

After you join, your browser remembers your place in line in its local storage, so the page can show it when you come back. It stays on your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Where it's kept

Waitlist details are stored in a database in Singapore, the region closest to Bhutan, and handled by the Yarphel server in the same region. The companies that host them process the data only to run Yarphel for us. When invites go out, we may use an email service to deliver them.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until you've had your invite. If you then create an account, the app's privacy notice takes over. If you don't, we delete the entry once we no longer need it to follow up. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will.

Your choices

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to remove them from the waitlist. Removing them means you won't get an invite unless you join again.

Children

Yarphel Business is made for people running a business. The waitlist isn't meant for children.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change matters to people already on the waitlist, we'll tell them by email.
